Flavor:
The nose opens with hints of black cherry and blackberry followed by flowery notes of violet and spicy notes of liquorice and coffee.
Taste:
Warm and soft, velvety, with a good structure and a great balance. Long and persistent with a pleasant fruity aftertaste.

CLIMATIC TREND OF THE VINTAGE
Very positive outcome of this vintage for the quality of the grapes harvest. The spring, characterized by much rain, led to a good supply of groundwater. The summer months were quite warm, allowing recovery of the late growing season. The grapes then came at best at the period of ripening, the latter characterized by beautiful sunny days and cool nights. The result was the obtaining of fully ripe grapes so to produce this Rosso di Montalcino of excellent quality.
